is this normal for a banner ad co.?

Hi --

I was recently approved by FocusIN advertising network and was wondering if this is common with other ad networks (Burst, ValueClick, etc.). I clicked on a banner on my site and noticed that it brought me to Treeloot.com (fine!). I closed the treeloot window and a small pop-up ad appeared. I closed that window and another pop-up ad appeared. This went on 6 times!?! If I was a visitor of mine, I would have been annoyed.

Is this the doing of treeloot or FocusIN? Does this happen with most other banner ad networks?? It doesn't seem my several cents for that click is worth all those pop-ups.

99% of the time, it is the advertiser, not the banner company. If you don't want that happening, you can usually deselect that particular ad.
