MySQL backup with update-log
i have searched the forum for threads but i have nothing found to my topic.
My problem is that i have to do automatic backup every day of my database. I know that i can write a simple script that execute the command "mysqldump" at any time. But i have a very big database (more than 10GB). If i do every night a full backup i got a problem with space on hd and the execution of mysqldump take a long time to proceed. So i want to use the Update-log files to backup the server. There i have a problem. The update-log files a number serialy so i can not use it for any script. Have anyone use the update-log files with mysqldump for a script to backup one mysql database? Or have anyone an idea to do something like that? I'm really confused.
Btw: Sorry for my evil english.
