Verdana best for body text?

I like Corbel very much, it will probably be my new verdana when possible.

I am using Verdana for my main text ... it looks good on smaller font size. Times new roman is not my choice. Ever

georgia and verdana is a solid text for headings but for content in a website or in a word both soft and hard copy, arial is perfect in my view.

seriously.. who uses times new roman for a website's full body text? verdana seems to be everyone's choice. I use it too. Though in documents, I'd rather use tahoma.

Verdana is good, simple and much readable font.

I usually use Helvetica, Arial, Tahoma and Trebuchet MS...

I guess it falls down to preference.

Why, on the typetester site is the default font color #444 instead of black?

My personal preference for a casual yet elegant sans-serif display is Helvetica Thin for your headers and Lucida Grande for your body. However, that's personal taste, and worse, most people won't find those fonts on their computers (especially HT--I don't have it on mine, I can't find a free download, and I won't pay for it ).

Default sans-serif for me is Verdana. I like those new Microsoft sans-serif fonts but they're not in widespread usage.

I'm not a fan of Arial at all. I like Verdana and Trebuchet.

It's all personal preference. It also has to do with the design of your site. You want cohesion.

I would use something that is CLEAR to read, but fits the style and message of your site appropriately. Everything on the internet, needs to be relevant.

Seriously, would you read an article that is more than a single line with either fonts? I don't think the human eye can handle it. At least not the human species on this earth.
