    RAQ First Timer

    Hey,

I just got a virtual hosting account on a Cobalt RAQ, and all I've ever used is Win2000/IIS and Linux/Apache hosting, so I have no idea where to even start with this. Is there any manuals, faq sites, or anything else to start me off?

    thanks.

For one thing, Cobalt Raq's use a modified Cobalt Linux OS. So, in essence, you are using Linux. Apache is still your webserver, so programs and scripts will still run the same. On webhostingtalk.com there is a cobalt Raq section. However, most of the time it is very technical issues..

    Well,

It depends what you need to do? If you need to learn how the control panel works, I have two or three Manuals for them. If you need to learn the command line, it is very huge. It depends on what you want to learn in command prompt.

PM me if you want those manuals because those tutorials are on my website and if I post the URL here, I think it would be against the Forum Rules.

Ok, things like .htaccess and everything are the same?

and Omair, I'd like to have the URL's even though the CP seems simple enough (I only have a few usable options in the CP) you can mail them to brian@spiderbite.org if you don't want to post them.

One thing I though was strange is you always see NT servers with ASP, but this has ASP, PHP, CGI, and SSI, but no Database or Telnet/SSH. I think I have an option for SSH and MySQL though.

The servers are from http://www.sunwestnet.net/ everheard of or used them?
