Good web statistic software for medium ecommerce site

Hi guys,

a company that contracted me to redo their website wants me to install kind of a professional web stats tool. I say "kind of" because the real professional ones cost you a ridiculous 200 dollar per month or so...

We are looking at either

• 10 - 20 USD per month OR
• 100-200 USD software license purchase (installation on own server)

Does anyone have some good suggestions (i've already checked out the top 10 in Google and couldn't find anything cheap enough)

Isn't there some kind of Freeware tool that everyone uses?

Besides the usual site tracking tools, we'd need conversion tracking and campaign tracking if possible.

The new Google Analytics offering is good if you can get it. Otherwise, you may need to combine tools to get to free...

AWStats (or another) for the basics
