There are a lot of factors missing here that would be needed to decide. I'm sure there would be a catch, but my first thought is how much do you get. Sounds like an alladvantage type thing.

Ya this sounds like some AllAdvantage thing... which basically does nothing more than burn through VC dollars.

when you think about it all getting payed would be is just a discount ie: 10% on everything you buy. now if your prices were the lowest, and then you gave me the 10% then it would be more likely that i would...

    and i agree with aspen

I shop online already, so sure I would continue, especially if you paid me. But as mentioned, what's the catch?

    Explain.
Do people get paid for shopping at selected stores or can they choose the stores?
Do you mean something like ebates.com or fatcash.com?
    How much?
    What's the catch?

Hey any money saved is money earned. But to be realistic its all determined on total price including shipping charges and competitor's prices that are not online. If the money earned to shop + cost of the product(incl shipping) is less than the competitor's offline product locally than it is worth it.

So the formula is )...boy this is overload)
If (moneyearnedtoshop + totalcostofproduct) < (localproductprice) Then
    Buy product online
    Else
    Buy product locally
    End If

Doesn't sound like a programmer's perspective does it? lol
