may I ignore firefox 1.0.7 now ?

I'm reworking my site, and while everything seems ok in recent IE, Opera and Firefox 1.5, there is some kind of problem that only appears in older firefox versions, mostly 1.0.7. Some div's are strechted vertically much longer then they should be, and the content is placed below it, instead of inside the div.

If I can not really fix this problem, can I then ignore firefox 1.0.7, and show a small mesage to those users, suggesting that they better upgrade to 1.5 ? Or is 1.0.7 among the browsers that I should support ?

And is there any information about known firefox 1.0.7 css bugs and workarounds ?

You can Never ignore a browser, the reason for xHTML/CSS is to make websites accesible to all. You wouldn't believe how many times I've wanted to ignore Internet Explorer .

Firefox 1.0.x is dead. It's usage will only go down, and soon there will be as many 1.0.x users as there are 0.9.x today, which is to say, more or less 0%.

I haven't noticed worse memory leakage in Firefox 1.5. In fact, it's gotten a lot better about not using tons of memory unless I have tons of tabs open.

Heh! Saw the Secunia alert this morning and already upgraded. Some of us were having weird problems with 1.5, given the distribution of how systems occasionally suffer from FireFoxitis, I'd say it had to do with phases of the moon, thaumic energy nodes and whether a chicken had been sacrificed in the motherboard manufacturer's location in the last 5 decades and when the problems were bad, they were bad!
