    Are these fonts viable?

    Recently, I've taken a liking to Lucida Grande and Lucida Sans Unicode. I was just wondering if they are viable fonts to use in web development for a wide variety of audience (I see them on a lot of css related websites..). Would the average user have at least one of the two installed?

    Also, what are some other fonts that fit with those two I can add to my font-family in my css file.

    Thanks

    Lucida Grande is Mac-only (well, by default, at least. I'm sure it can be brought over to Win), and Sans Unicode comes with Win XP. Don't know about Linux for either. "Lucida Sans" is also a Win XP option.
    Code:
    font-family: "Lucida Grande", "Lucida Sans Unicode", sans-serif;
    should get some form of Lucida on 90% of your users' screens, or use the default sans-serif, if neither are available.

    Check http://typetester.maratz.com/ for other so-called web-safe's.
