    Tall Women vs. Short Women

I noticed that Vinyl-Junkie stated that she is 5' 9" and I am also that height. Sooooooooo,

    Gentlemen:

What's your preference to date and/or marry and why?

Nice thread, Lav, but where the hell is the poll?

Anyway, being a short guy myself (170'ish cm's), I prefer ladies equal to or just below my height. Of course, like in pretty much everything, there are exceptions.

Oh Egor, you know I'm just a *dumb red-head*

I wasn't sure how to make a poll

I'm a bit on the tall side (6'2") and I usually go for shorter women. You feel like you're in charge then Also, tall girls are a bit too intimidating for my liking.

The women I usually check out are about an average of 4-6" tall. Or are those just photos and videos? I get confused.
In all seriousness, tall women are often better to look at, but ya in real life I find them kinda intimidating too. But like Egor was saying, there are exceptions to every rule.

I am also 6"2 but to be honest i do not have a prefrance. As long as they are not taller then me i am ok with it. (so that means shorter)

My wife is shorter than me. I'm glad that she is. Tall women don't intimidate me either.

From the responses, i guess the understanding is "women taller than you" not necessarily "tall" women.

I'm 6'0" and I pretty much go for women my height or shorter. I wouldn't be against dating someone taller, but I couldn't see myself marrying someone who is taller.

    Tall women rock!

    Short women rock!

I think it depends on many other factors. Right now I'm on a tall girl kick because I've been watching rollergirls on A&E and sister mary jane is awesome.

That double shifty logic is hard to read.
    It's like:
    if (!($preference != $height->getLeastPreferred()) )

I'm 5'10" and my wife is 5'4", but height's not too relevant in who I chose. There are more important things you have to like than whether or not you stand on your toes to kiss.

My instinct is to say that I like tall women, but...

    I'm 6'6" and married a woman who's 5'4", so go figure.

I used to feel intimidated by women taller than me (I'm over 6'); usually just because I'm thinking that she'd want someone taller. Maybe that's true in some cases, but I think the "shorter than me" standard amounts to a nasty prejudice against taller women. It's hard enough to find someone you like without knocking out 95+% the population that is shorter than you.

I've always liked people who are interesting looking and tall women are often spectacular in stature.

Basically I'm saying what DC is saying, I THINK.

    YES

I tried to wrap it up a little more subtle.
