I was just wondering what the best way to code a login script is. By this I mean, what way is best optimized, secure, etc. And also, I'm not sure if by asking this my thread will get moved, but is PHP the best language to use?
I guess what i'm also asking is how do the big sites do it? Are they all just your standard logins, sessions and cookies or what? Thanks.
