    Menu problem IE, ok in Firefox

    I'm trying to use this menu from an idea out of a Meyer CSS book across IE and firefox browsers. For some reason the code will not render the submenu popups in IE. The code works good in firefox. Does anyone see a mistake that I'm making or is there some hack bug fix I could add to get this to render correctly in IE.

    Code:
    /* CSS Document */
    /*********Lists Menus************/
    body
    	{
    		behavior: url(csshover.htc);
    	}

    #navcontainer ul
    	{
    		margin: 0;
    		padding: 0;
    		width: 9em;
    		font-family: "Monotype Corsiva", sans-serif;
    		font-size: 22px;
    		border: 1px solid;
    		font-color: white;
    		background: #BDC2A9;
    		color: #fff;

    	}

    #navcontainer ul ul
    	{
    		/*position: relative;*/
    		position: absolute;
    		top: 0;
    		left: 9em;
    		display: none;
    		color: #fff;
    	}

    #navcontainer ul.level1 li.submenu:hover ul.level2,
    #navcontainer ul.level2 li.submenu:hover ul.level3

    	{
    		display: block;
    	}

    #navcontainer li
    	{
    		position: relative;
    		list-style: none;
    		margin: 0;
    		border: 1px solid black;
    		color: #fff;

    	}

    #navcontainer li a
    	{
    		display: block;
    		text-decoration: none;
    		/**IE fix active area****/
    		width: 9em;
    		color: #fff;
    		padding: 2px 2px 2px 2px;

    	}

    #navcontainer>ul a

    Validate your code. You are missing two li end tags.

    Thanks for the catch on the missing tags.

    I validated it and it seems to still not expand the submenu in IE. The validated code is now in the above post.
    Thanks
