Calendar / List of Events
Hi all...
I'm putting together a site with a list of events on it - has anyone put together a similar table / list that they would consider is 'accessible/usable' - everything I come up with seems flawed.
Any ideas?

a full on calendar (with columns for mon-fri and rows for weeks) is only a good solution if you have a very large number of events per month. if you only have 1 or 2, it's overkill, in my humble opinion.
Code:<table> <caption>Events for May 2006</caption> <thead> <tr><th></th><th><abbr title="Monday">Mon</th><th><abbr title="Tuesday">Tue</th> ... </tr> </thead> <tbody> <tr><th scope="row">Week 1</th><td>1 [events for monday]</td><td>2 [events for tuesday]</td> ... </tr> ... </table>
Code:<table> <thead> <tr><th>date</th><th>event</th><th>details</th></tr> </thead> <tbody> <tr><td>8 February 2006</td><td>The Conference</td><td>Blah blah blah</td></tr> </tbody> </table>
re·dux (adj.): brought back; returned. used postpositively
[latin : re-, re- + dux, leader; see duke.]

Spooky, but the site is for the NW of England! Thanks for your suggestion - I pretty much went with the same thing.
Cheers!
(PS: hope to hear you at #@# - waiting to see if work will pay...)
