Download / Subscription Manager

I've been looking at hotscripts for about an hour now and can't seem to find exactly what I'm looking for...
Does anyone know of a script that can handle paid subscriptions (via paypal is fine, anything added is great) for a download site?
What I ideally would like to do is have subscription 1 = X downloads, subscription 2 = XX downloads, etc.. So the larger subscription they buy, the more downloads they get (say in a given period of time, every month or week). Are there any scripts out there that would work this way (free or paid is fine as well). Thanks for your help in advance!

I assume you ment 'amember'. I did take a look at it, but there is nothing to limit the amount of downloads a member can use within a given time.

Subdreamer does this.. You can dowload the lite version, but you will have to purchase the download manager AND the paypal addon found here.

Amember is great and if fine if you just want a download area and membership.

Mambo would be better though if you plan on building a community around the downloads.

Another option though commercial is vBulliten. If you would like to start with a forum then save your pennies (and eat rice and ketchup for a few weeks like I did once upon a college time ) and buy this one.

I do want a download and members only area. I have found lots of scripts for this, I just can't find one that will limit their downloads based on the subscription that they have (ie subscription A gives them 10 downloads per month and subscription B gives them 100 downloads per month).

Something like that you will have to find a coder for or code it yourself. None of the free open applications have that controll. Amember is the only PHP application that I know that allows this out of the box. Zencart and CRE loaded require some enhancements.
