MySQL type limits

does anyone know the limits on the varying types in mysql?
spefically varchar right now, cause i need that.

varchar is 255 chars max

well, i found varchar, but the rest are sketchy.

I just typed into the box the highest number i felt i would use.. and Mysql reported an error when i went to high and it would show me what the allowed amount is.

I know that the Blob on'es are like unlimited... I think
