IE does not adhere to CSS rule, but FF does ??? Another issue rears it's ugly head!

Can anyone suggest why the lines of text just above the photo at the bottom of the page adhere to this CSS rule in FF, but not in IE?

IE is right in this case.

h7 is not a valid tag.

Firefox wrong. IE right.

Could it possible be because there is no such element as an h7 lol

Heading tags go from 1 - 6 only.

Also you have nested p tags around block level elements which is not allowed. You need to use divs to wrap elements like h1,p, etc.

Paul, I cannot get that text formatted to save my life. I tried using this:

No, IE would have been wrong. I didn't see the original but the paragraph should have inherited the parent styling so IE, apparently, didn't apply that while FF did.

You have used the incorrect quote characters:

e.g.

<div class=”h_7”>

It should be:

<div class="h_7">

You still have an incorrect structure. P tags can only contain inline elements. They cannot contain divs or p's or any other block level elements.

Run through the errors in the validator check and you will be in much better shape

Thanks again - that's the answer. I had been using Word to do a bit of text clean up, and that was the issue!
