    FF not perfect, but IE is even worse

    Hi. Using the following linked-to stylesheet settings, I almost have FF covering my complete background but it does fall about 1/4" off all the way around, IE leaves a good 1-2"s at the bottom in addition to the other edges. Obviously, I would like them both to totally cover the entire bg but don't see what is holding it up. I know they behave differently and have looked around but haven't beat this one yet, any help would be greatly appreciated.

    This code gets it all (img & txt) centered but the bg color doesn't quite make it to the edges:

    body {
    text-align: center;
    }

    div {
    text-align: center;
    color: black;
    float: center;
    margin-left: auto;
    margin-right: auto;
    background-color: khaki;
    font-family: Times New Roman;
    }

    a:link {color: red;
    text-decoration: none;
    }

    Now that I stand back and look at it, it seems that the body & div should be reversed to account for more div's later...

    TIA.

    I'm not sure if this would help, but try putting the background color in the body {}.
