From reading all the great articles that are out there I have been aspiring to develop completely table-less layouts. Owen Briggs helped me discover the solution to the "3 column touching" table-less layout with divs and CSS thanks to his site http://www.thenoodleincident.com/tut...son/index.html. However, I was hoping that someone has created a semi-cross browser safe version of the "3 column touching" that allows the middle column to be a fixed size and the right and left columns to expand or contract to the browser window. If anyone has a solution or can direct me to any good resources without using tables - I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks so much, Stacie

. Really what I want to do is simply place a repeating background image in both the left and right. The middle is for content and that is a fixed size. But both the left and right should be able to hold some content (I'm planing on only a limited amount).
