    php, shtml, html..

    In my SHTML, I include a "etcetc.php" file. And inside this etcetc.php file, it also links to another file "calldb.php" (that helps me to call the data from databases)

    <html>
    <!--#include virtual="/registered/show.php"-->
    </html>

    and yet, it only shows what i have echo in "etcetc.php", and data from "calldb.php' doesn't seems to show... what could be the error I have made..

    Confused!
    Thanks

    Depends on the way you linked to the PHP Include in the etcetc.php
    I recommend changing the .shtml extension to PHP though, makes more sense and I am not sure if this can cause your problem.

    Anyway, you can't use SSI Include Syntaxes in a PHP file, you will need to use:

    PHP Code:
    <?php include("/path/to/file.php"); ?>
    And when you change your .shtml extension to .php you can use the same PHP Syntax as well, then you're sure it will work
