    Paypal chargebacks can be very frustrating, especially for the intangible goods sellers. What I do is ask for a phone number, and then have a automated phone verifcation system($0.15 per call) to call them. This verification process eliminated 90% of my fraud orders.

    I use http://telesign.com.

    They have a demo for you to try out. Anyway, you signup with them and wait for them to contact you. Once they approved your application, they will send you an api. After, you can implement it in to your shopping cart.

    I didn't finish reading the thread, so sorry if it was suggested already. But what about burning the CD and mailing a copy not to every customer, but only IF and WHEN there is a chargeback.

    That is what I thought. You can also add other agreement terms.

    This would be useful only if the order is large. It would be too time consuming to do this for a $20 order, and also there is the postal fees.
