    phpBB help

Don't get me wrong here, seems great so far, and I've had no trouble setting it up. But my PHP/mySQL newbie-ness is probably preventing me from solving these problems.

First, the email it sends out is jumbled together, and I'd like to just put some line breaks in it.

Second is the heading at the top of the forum. I need to just make the graphic link back to my homepage, and have no idea where to do that either.

Can anyone help out that uses this forum?

if the mail is jumbled it could be your mail client.

To double check I believe the mail is sent from bb_register.php you should be able to spot it in the code. there should be "\n"'s in place for line breaks.

For the page header open up page_header.php and edit it.

well, the email isn't really as important to me as the header is. Problem is, I can't find the url holder for that header image anywhere. I found it in the header.php file, but it's just a variable, not an exact url, and I can't find where they set the variable.

You need to set the header image in the theme itself. So open the phpBB admin site and go into theme admin and modify a theme, you'll see the field for header image in that form.
Please don't PM me with questions.
Use the forums, that is what they are here for.

well, I've already fixed the image I guess, I just changed the name of my image and overwrote phpBB's. The url I'm wanting to change is where the graphic points to. It's pointing right back to the forum.

For the e-mail problem all the text used it kept in the language file phpBB/language/lang_english.php or whatever langage you use.
From line 188 to the end is basically the text for the various emails it sends.
You would find more specified help at the phpBB forums: http://phpbb.sourceforge.net/phpBB

if you want to do something like this: http://www.rfworld.net/forums (the very top image), just go to your admin panel, and specify it in the header/meta/footer section.
or you could hack up page_header.php.
just seach for the body tag and add it right after.
