    Hi,

How do you trademark a product name, company name?
Can you give me address where I can find more information on this.

It looks as if Johan lives in Sweden. Therefore, the US office for patents and trademarks may not be useful.

    This may be more useful:
    http://www.prv.se/eng/trademarks/index.html

    .. or in swedish:

That's a good point, the U.S. site may be useful if they want their mark to apply worldwide.

Check your local phone directory for an attorney who specializes in intellectual properties (patents, copyrights, trademarks). This is a fairly trivial operation, but not one for an unassisted novice. Also, depending on the country in which you wish to operate, a trademark may be used without registration - TM instead of (R).

Can I write TM without register?

In the US, yes, you can write TM without registering - though with fewer protections. Also, it behooves you to do a search to see if your intended trademark is in use (ignoring differences in capitalization, white space or modifiers).
