    strech table background?

    is there a way to strech a table bg instead of tile it? i need to know because i have a to create a table 100% wide with a 750px image inside. the image has to be centered, and on the left of the image the bg has to be 1 color, and on the other side there has to be another. streching a 2px image with 2 colors is the only way i can think to do this.

    Try adding this to your <table> tag

    style = "background-attachment : fixed"

    or

    style = "background : fixed"

    I have never used that particular style before. But CSS is probably a good place to start

    hmmm, interesting predicament... i don't think you can stretch a bg image. as far as i know, you can only define the position (centered, etc.) and behavior (static, etc.) of a bg image.
