I am using IIS (Microsoft Windows XP Professional) and the local path is c:/inetpub/wwwroot, what i did was i unzip and copy phpMyAdmin inside c:/inetpub/wwwroot and modify the file config.inc.php and change this line $cfg['PmaAbsoluteUri'] = ' '; to $cfg['PmaAbsoluteUri'] = 'http://localhost/phpmyadmin'; but when i used my browser and typed http://localhost/phpmyadmin an error appeared

It sounds that you have no permissions to that directory. Try with a simple html page if that works. If not you must set permissions for anonymous in that directory.

If i am going to type http://localhost/ the browser will display the index.htm inside the wwwroot folder but if i am going to type http://localhost/phpmyadmin that error will pop up. I don't know what to do.

    Hi,
I got the problem solved. I forgot to add index.php in the IIS documents tab. It's working now.
