    Firefox 1.5 released!

    Download here: windows, linux, mac.

Oh, if you have RC3 then it's the same as 1.5, no need to re-download.

FF is the only browser to use and now it's better. What was your problem with it?

At first I wasn't all that impressed with FF, but used it because I liked the tabbed browsing, however I can now oficially say that it is better.

    Thanks for the info!

Webdeveloper does, LiveHTTP does, IETab does.

Random crashes? Never had any so I can't comment.

I'm gonna give it a try then. It's just that I currently use about 10 of them

From what I have read, you will have to reinstall the extensions you currently have.

I am trying to find the source where I read this - if I do, I will post a link.

It's looking good. My theme wasn't valid so I must wait until an updated version pops up. And couple of my extensions need updating. But the majority went well.

    I updated from 1.0.7 to 1.5. It's lookin' good.

I upgraded Sunday night and since the upgrade I cannot acces any of my personal websites and I cannot check my email anymore. The rest of the web wroks fine so far, just my sites. I checked at work and my sites are working fine, it's the new version of FF. Personall I would not upgrade, I love FF but this SUCKS big time.

I have read all the suggestions at Mozilla and nothing has worked yet.

All of my extensions worked and I did not have to re-install them.

Skaterscafe, I've been using FF 1.5 since beta1 with no problems with anything. I installed to this final version and no problems accessing skaterscafe.com if that's one you are having trouble with. All of my sites work, too, plus email.

Yea, I see it works for some but they have a ton of people having the same problem I am at Mozilla forums. Weird thing is IE stopped working for my sites also, but it all happened right after I did the upgrade.

It said it could not install my Google Pagerank extention and when I searched for a compatible one for version 1.5 it didn't find any. Is there not one that works with 1.5 yet?

skaterscafe, I hang out at mozilla forums and don't see anybody complaining about problems except downloading. I'm at my brothers house and have now updated eight computers with no problems.

The only thing I hate about FX 1.5 is the menus, which are designed for the XP Luna theme in mind. I use the classical theme, so they look crap. There is a classical menu extension to avoid this very issue, but it is just a nuisance all the same.

If my dev toolbar, color picker, css edit, pagerank, ip lookup, and measureit extensions dont work, then I will be staying with the current version for a while.

I've lost a few extensions, but I guess they'll be updated in time. The only thing I didn't like is that the first couple of times I started Firefox it took forever (like minutes) to open. Apparently it was configuring stuff like extensions etc. I hope that this was a one time thing.

I just hope that v1.5 has gotten rid of that nasty habit of crashing that v1.0 had when hitting some sites' javascripts related to ads and popups. That was really annoying.

You may have to manually upgrade some of your extensions if you use extensions.
