    fsockopen() function

    What simple script can I use to call the fsockopen() function to see if it is supported by my server?

    http://uk2.php.net/fsockopen

    Just use their example - Perhaps changing the URL for something else.

    Will,

    Sorry, I had looked at that page but my eyes skipped over that example.

    -Did, and getting at the head of the index:

    " HTTP/1.1 200 OK Date: Tue, 29 Nov 2005 15:35:32 GMT Server: Apache X-Powered-By: PHP/4.4.0 Connection: close Transfer-Encoding: chunked Content-Type: text/html 115e "

    -which looks like an affirmative to me.

    Thanks.
