    Opacity with CSS

    Does anyone know the code for setting the opacity of an imagelink to , let's say 50% and when hover it gets 100% .
    I've been looking in the MSN library but that page is removed for some reason.
    And if someone can tell me from what version of browser this is supported. thx in advance ...

    This is how you change the opacity in CSS: filter:alpha(opacity=100);

    It'll work in IE 5+, and NS6 has its own way of doing opacity that I don't remember.

    I don't know how much support it has (if any) but I think this is similar to what you are looking for...

    Otherwise you can usually do a good job of having 2 separate images and doing a normal javascript swap. You'd probably be supported more as well.

    Cheers!
