    .dll problem

    Hi, i found a dll that opens a "rep" file and extracts all the information i want from it, its an open source one but i dont knwo how to implement that on my web, i mean how can i make it call the dll and set the data in it to vars?
    Please help me.

    1. I am assuming you plan to do this in a windows env (Yeah i know ... duh!)
    2. The command for running a dll is rundll32 <filename>. So if you replicate this command line in the exec php function, it should work just fine.

    Not what i wanted but thanks, i mean, once the dll is executed what happens?
    I want to take the values to vars and store them at the db all autamatic.
    I made some time ago an upload system but the user had to fill the data, with this dll he/she would only have to upload the file since the data is taken from the file, that would REALLY help me a lot. Any one?

    There are docs on the website, why don't you read them? All you need is to copy dll in the extensions folder, modify your php.ini and restart apache.

    thats what i was afraid of, i guess i cant modify my php.ini since its a free hosting thingy.
