    Take out the quotes around the expiration date, it's a number not a string.

    Did anyone hear me? NS 3 and early 4 require the .domain and the www in the name in order to read URLS. Take a look at Amazon.com, there is a reason why there is a WWW in front of the domain... and some other borwsers, opera, kmelon, etc, also have compatibility issues UNLESS you use ALL of the cookie settings...

    That isn't correct. You only need two dots if you explicitly set the domain. If you don't specify the domain then it doesn't matter how many dots the url has.
