How to setup a download shop with Paypal?

I'm about to startup my online shop selling downloadable goods. I'd like some advice on how to go about setting it up.

My main questions are:

1. Which download verification script to use with paypal and what setup do I take in my paypal account for this.

2. How to protect myself from chargeback claims and fraud?

3. I don't have alot of money to get dedicated hosting so I'm just on a shared server, what tips if any can I take to protect my downloadable products? encryption?

They provide hosting for your product and expiring download links.
