Copyright and picture
For instance
If I have article about car ,and add some pictures of this car from manufacturers gallery or take picture which was used for advertising purposes or press release
It's legal to use this pictures
or i have ask for permision
or enough just write ( manufacturers picture )
how about wallpaper sites , do they have permisions for all pictures ?

Most of the time, it is required to get permission to use any photo that doesn't expressly state that it can be used without asking. Even if you don't see anything listed about a photo, it would be in your best interest to contact the owner to get permission to use it. If the photo will be used for something beneficial to the owner, most likely they'll be willing to let you use it.

Just about ANY time you "borrow" an image from a company or other website you really should get permission BEFORE using it... unless the site you get it from expressly states you can use them.

Unless the picture was released into the public domain (quite rare), you would need permission from the copyright owner (and most likely have to pay a licensing fee) for it's use.

But if i use some pictures
I will be (somehow) punished (I hope no jail)
or first just asked remove these pictures from site.

Jail is usually not a problem, it's civil. But a typical copyright infringment, especially if they feel you've "damaged" their product/image by usage, can be easily reach $10,000 per occurance. And depending upon distribution (how many people have seen the picture) and intent, the "damages" can be 3-4x the initial judgment.
