Question regarding - PHP Safe mode

How do i turn off PHP safe_mode ?

    This is the current status.

    safe_mode On Off
The reason I want to turn off this is so that vbulletin board can use the avatar feature.

that On Off part is the local/master value from phpinfo() right? then it must be getting turned on in .htaccess. you can put in a .htaccess file

    php_value safe_mode Off

i might be 0 instaed of Off.

Two ways you can do this:

    In php.ini, just add "safe_mode = Off"

    Or

    In apache configuration file:
In your directory, php_admin_flag safe_mode Off

safe_mode is one of those that uses php_admin_flag instead of just php_flag which php.net could've done a better job at documenting...
