    IE Margin Problems...

    Hello everyone,

    I am having troubles with IE adding more margin than in FF.

    http://soundflame.com/index-old.php

    Please take a look in both browsers at the margin on the left of the user login box and give me some advice.

    Thank you in advance everyone, I appreciate it.

    Regards,
    Alex

    Hi,

    Its the ie double margin bug on the side of a float nearest a container (or windows edge). Add display:inline to cure it (see faq on floats).

    Code:
    form#login {
    height: 81px;
    width: 137px;
    margin: 0px;
    margin-top: 22px;
    margin-left: 28px;
    padding: 0px;
    float: left;
    background: url(http://www.soundflame.com/images/loginbg.gif) no-repeat #FFF;
    display:inline;/* ie double margin bug*/
    }
    You also need to do the same on the #home element
