Red face And odd CSS design : dynamic bg in 2 divs

Ok, you guys were instrumental in helping me understand (links and articles, oh and I bought a Meyers book!) and implement a CSS design a while ago, and I have another project in which I think I may be biting off more than I can chew. I've made a page that hopefully you can take a look into and just give me a spoken solution (no need to code it, I'm just not grasping the solution that does this)

The page should explain better. Thank you in advance:

I checked out the link. Well, tbh, that was the topic the last time I made a CSS post. And I was given great articles to read, so I understand that concept now (thanks to Sitepoint members!) of making columns expand to the viewport.

My main problem with this design here was how I go about doing that while having those 2 divs in the background (the RED and ORANGE ones) expand as well but stay behind the YELLOW, BLUE and GREEN divs. They all needed to be in the same wrapper, I would assume, but I've tried various ways of laying it out and just ain't seeing SOMETHING that would make the layout work.

Just background images. No content at all. The page will be dynamically calling 2 CSS files as includes, one to control the BG image on the left (RED) div, and another to control the BG image on the right (ORANGE) div.

    Hello

OK you then can adapt the example it haze wrappers for the left right bg images 4 colums , if you take the 2e left column out , and adjust the margin left its your basic layout
