    Looking for GREAT news script

Anybody has a suggestion for a GOOD news script?

Basically it should be able to handle multiple categories
and allows user comments. PHP prefered.

I've tried PHP-News by kill-9and it's quite good but it still contain lot of bugs.

And I'm still waiting for Thom to publish PHP version of Greymatters.

    Thanks

I think wmnews is the best script around (php+mysql). Headlines are organized by categories not by date of entry. Headlines are displayed via php includes tags that link to a full story page with user comments, printer friendly, send to a friend, ratings options.

I have the modified version that allows multiple users and 3 levels of access: admin, category, and article users. It includes the author's name above the articles, and the archive link button moved in the full story page area.

b2 is another solution: it is PHP+MySQL, has easy multi-user management, an integrated comments' system, categories, a spellchecker, a template editor, and easy template tags.
And I'm half-way done to coding the last version of it, before I move on to code the engine of b3's news system, that's based on b2's db schema, but would allow multiple sites to be updated with just a single installation, just like phpMyAdmin juggles with several configs. It would be almost like a mini-blogger on your server, in that you'd have a single users' table, but multiple blogs.
