Is it me, or has clickxchange been down for a couple of hours now? I switched over from cj, because they dont accept pay per click anymore and eveyrone is leaving, and clickxchange i think is the only alternative, now its down too.

Hmm, it's not loading for me either. It's now 12:07AM Central Standard Time on August 16th. Is it working for anyone else?

I'm pretty sure this is part of their scheduled maintenace. When I was running a report in the yesterday I did see some mention of down time during today and tomorrow.
This isnt effecting banner serving so dont worry about your revenue being effected.

I don't know about the banner server status, but my text links aren't working. Whenever I click one I receive a "Cannot find server." Because of this, we actually are losing revenue. Unless ClickXChange decides to foot the bill (advertisers Church won't), the publishers get the bad end of the deal.Originally posted by JamesCross

I'm sure it's a technical problem somewhere along the line. They just changed their whole payment system a few weeks ago, I wouldn't imagine that they would be wiped within a few weeks.
Keep an eye (and finger) open and please post a message if you have any success reaching the ClickXChange website.

My mistake your right our banners have now stopped being served! All traffic via Clickxchange has stopped. This is the first time theyve had problems for a long long time. Maybe its due to the increased demand as a result of CJ stopping their pay per click programs?
This is the second day straight their servers have been down. This is getting rediculous. Any one have their phone #?

We didnt have a problem with them yesterday. Referred traffic levels were normal.

If it is, then they have some serious management problems. They saw this coming, I'm guessing the restructure of CJ led to the new rules at ClickXChange. I check out their new affiliate programs on a daily basis, and oddly enough, there hasn't been a "flood" of new programs.Originally posted by JamesCross

Jeremy, I ran a WHOIS search and this is the phone number it spit out: 714-536-1903. It's in California, I thought they were located in New York? I must be thinking of someone else...

DAY TWO:
...still no access to the clickXchange site
You would think that with the demise of CJ's pay-per-click and now ClickTrade that clickXchange would want to make a good impression on all the advertisers and publishers.

Nope, I just called 714-536-1903 and received a voice message from ClickXChange. It said that all representatives are currently unavailable. I have a feeling it will be like that all day. I'll try calling again later, we need some answers...

someone posted this at an another forum
I just called them , and was told that the system went down , and that it was just such a big mess that it will probably take at least a few days before they are able to get back up again .
Just incase anyone else wants to call, their # is : 714-536-1903

Good news, ClickXChange is back online. They're still alive!
Thankfully, their system hasn't lost affiliate earnings before the system problems started to occur. So basically, you haven't lost your money, which is a good thing. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like publishers will be paid for any traffic they have been sending the past few days, since their tracking system has been down.
A compensation bonus would sure be nice, eh? Actually, I would settle for an email detailing the problems that have occurred, along with an apology. I'm very disappointed in their actions, or lack of actions these past few days.![]()
