    Start my own affiliate program.

    Hi,

I want to start my own affiliate program. Let other websites sell my products. Could you recommend me a website that offer this kind of services.

You can check out the aggregators - CJ, BeFree, LinkShare. Be prepared to spend $1300-13,000.

You can look into Kowabunga Software myaffiliateprogram.com

    BUT...

it's not a great route for conversion to purchase in your category.

You could submit your software to V-Com or Macmillan and let them publish, document, support, etc., both ESD & retail - that at least won't cost you anything.

You could spend about $4,000 on a quarter page in the TigerDirect catalog, but you won't necessarily sell enough to break even.

Right now, today, before you spend another dollar or minute looking into promotional venues, I'd suggest finding a way to see if you still work - and provide a benefit - under Windows XP. If you do, there are some cool all-of-a-sudden things that you can do to make all of this work better.

I will not sell WinTasks 2000 through affiliates since the market is rather small. It is for www.liscreensavers.com I am interested to set up an affiliate program for.

Or you could work with a smaller affiliate company. Try fineclicks.com, clickxchange.com.

What are you getting for conversion rates?

FreeFiliate.com offers free Affiliate Program software, though I don't know how good it can be.

If you want to advertise via banner ads I'd try FastClick, CJ (expensive, though.) or dkAds

Though I don't think banners are the best way to sell products. I would try making a pay-per-sale text link based program on ClickXChange, it costs 250 dollars to start one and you only pay afterwards when someone buys something from your site. If you have multiple products I'd offer a percentage, otherwise a flat cash value per sale.

Just my buck and seventeen cents,
