Hi... I'm not sure if this is the right place to post it, but my guess is that this is the only forum that would care about this!

I am about to go through a large Web site and make consistent the trademark and registered trademarks for their company and product names. The HTML tag for the trademark (TM) symbol is already superscripted, however the registered trademark (R) is not.

I am using for the trademark symbol and ® for the registered trademark symbol.

My question is - should I superscript the registered trademark symbol? I have seen this done, however it can throw off the line spacing of a body of text.

Any insight is appreciated!

thnx... mp/m
