Intergrating a vBulletin quick search

Sitepoint have added a useful forum search box at the top of all the pages. How was this done? I did have a quick look into it and it seems that the search will return results for users and the content of the forums.

Looks to me like a basic vBulletin template edit/customisation... I think there was a post on the vBulletin forums about how to add a search to the top of each forum index, if you're interested.
