    CPCs and in-house ad servers

    Hello Everyone,
I have a question. Many networks have a policy on CPC banners of 1 click per IP in 24 hours.
Does anyone know what happens if you use your own ad server to display ads. Let's say you want to assign some of your inventory to CPC network. Now, when the user clicks on the ad, my ad server will redirect this click to CPC network. Do you think that network will register an IP of my ad server or user's IP?
    Thank you.

It will be the users ip, as your server is not actually fetching the image, its just telling the browser what image to fetch.

I am not saying that you will.. but if you do ask the Ad Agency if you can run their ads on a network as adcursor... Many agencies don't allow that and will terminate your account.

Well, we will run ads as an adcursor, networks know it and are very excited about it. The problem is with advertisers - some of them run the ads on their own tracking system. So in our case it would be as follows: User requests our server -- we request XYZ network -- XYZ network requests ZYX's tracking server.
I'm wondering if this will work...

Ok, here is a quick suggestion. Never go by an advertisers stats. We trie it and that advertiser totally screwed us by undercounting clicks by about 1/10. Do a 1 day test to see how well the stats match but never commit to a contract of over 15 days before testing it first.
