    Sports Central Message Boards

Talk sports and have a good time - if you have an interest in sports, no matter the subject, we've got the place to discuss it. Friendly moderators and helpful members will be there to assist you, always!

Our community first formed on ezboard, but really took off once we switched to vBulletin back in November 2000, on 1.1.3. Now, ten months later, we went from 1,000 posts to over 20,000.

Stop by the ultimate sports fan community today!

They look very nice, though I'm not really into sports... Just curios, why do you use a different account?

How do you post the total views? Is that some sort of hack that a PHP illiterate person can use?

    Thanks for your kind comments.

The Total Views hack is an extremely simple vBulletin hack I found in the vB Forums which I particiapte in.

What do you mean I use different accounts?

I noticed that they are hosted on a vanity domain rather than a directory, so I assumed it's a different hosting account.

Nope, I registered SportsCentralBoards.com for the heck of it and used MyDomain.com's service to redirect it to a subdomain within my actual site.

I see... I actually thought about splitting my forums into a different hosting account as they take up a lot of space...
