    Your opinions on Snitz?

I have used snitz before, but not much. It certainly has lots of features for a free board.

It is as ASP-based board. Not being familiar with asp, I moved to phpBB.

However, I think that other than the fact that it is ASP, it is one of the finer free boards out there. It certainly has a lot more features.

I was a bit skeptical about the security of it. Back when I was using snitz, the passwords were not encrypted in the database, and they could be accessed by anyone with an admin account.

What is everyone's opinion of it?

PS. thanks to Nicky for the suggestion

I think Snitz is an excellent choice. I *almost* used it for a site in the past, but managed to get a non-ASP forum instead.

Re the security thing: that is the same in UBB, vBulletin etc. The only mainstream BB system I know where the passwords are encrypted is phpBB (and possible ikonboard - not sure).
