Dammit... I came here this morning hoping to see some designs that took insanity to the extreme. I started on mine, which was using the dom to completely change the html and was aiming to include every IE bug I knew, but just not enough time to complete it... damn job.

I was kinda hoping to see other members posting links to their project entries; but there isn't a single one! Is there some rule or netiquette against it?

Unless someone objects, here's a link to my entry. Firefox CSS Support Only

yeah, I was hoping the same thing as well!! Unfortunately no one did, I think that people didn't post their links so that others can't lift their techniques!! But they can post now if they want, since entries aren't accepted anymore.

cool stuff. though I think as the contest description & rules said, it would've been cool if your design displayed horribly(not as the plain default version) in other browsers!! still, good try. you entered only one entry?

I can't wait to see other entries!!

Ahhh... I started on one that gave random JS errors and null/undefined alerts. Never got around to finishing it, though.

Can't wait to see more entries.

    Here's my entry

There's no css used. (Well, no css file used... Just a lot of javascript)

    Off Topic:

If you're testing it in IE, you might want to add me to the 'trusted zone.' Doesn't seem to work otherwise. (Don't worry there isn't any activeX or anything)

Ya, only one entry funda; studio is quite busy atm. But this was too much fun to miss out on so I knocked this up during lunch. IMO though, you can't get more busted than not working at all. I thought the judges may get a surprise seeing no styling at all...

I'll be announcing the winner this weekend. We're still tallying up votes and I have to chase after the staff to decide, those lazy bums

What a lame contest. I'm sorry for this post, but what is the point of making a website look bad in good browsers such as Opera (or even Safari), when clearly it's just a good a browser as Firefox? Atleast if the point was to look good in standards-compliant browsers, and bad in others..

Which means it's more challenging. Besides , they're giving away a Firefox book , not Safar or opera . The contest is a bit weird compared to previous ones though.

I think the contest would have been much better if we were to make a page for Firefox, without caring about the rest. So basically, instead of using a 100% different design for IE/Opera/Safari, which is entirely useless in every sense, you use non-IE JS, CSS, and even XUL if you want. I would love to be able to use some of the non-IE CSS stuff, but this contest doesn't really promote that. It actually asks you to sabotage your design in the rest.
