    Which MacOS?

    Here are some options:

    1) MacOSX is really running a version of BSD under the bonnet - so I've heard. I have glanced at some articles on the web about how you can run things like PHP, MySQL, Apache etc on MacOSX - so you probably can. Here is one such article about PHP on MacOSX http://www.onlamp.com/pub/a/mac/2001...hp_macosx.html

    2) Well I can't run MacOSX on my aging 9600/300. I could download one of the verisons of Linux that have been ported to PowerMac. But unfortunately, there does not appear to be a stable Linux driver for my TwinTurbo video card - so I'm not going to bother.

    3) I am currently looking into downloading NetBSD and installing that on my Mac. Now that its a new month and my bandwidth count goes back to zero, I might use up 650MB of my transfer limit by dl it.

    4) You can always run VirtualPC and install the win32 versions of everything (Apache, MySQL, PHP etc) onto your virtual win machine.

I don't know but I will guess - maybe if you compiled it on a Mac you could.

I think it run OK on OS X upwards as it based on Unix. With teh release of OS X.1 they say that heap of Linux/Unix programs and apps will get ported over. So I would say yes.
