    This forum is dead.

I think this forum should consentrate more on answering questions in client side then chatting in introductions.

    Hi disk-t,

Can't talk for anyone else, but I don't stop by that often anymore. Though I can say you may have scared some potential responses because of lack of data on your part. Any rate,

scrollTo(x,y) and scrollBy(x,y) are the 2 javascript functions that do scrolling (scroll(x,y) seems to be downplayed).

you access another frame by traversing the DOM. so, if you want to go to frame2 from frame1, you would say: "parent.frame2" and adding the scroll -- parent.frame2.scrollTo(x,y)

regarding the onKeydown event handler -- do you intend to fire the scrolling from within a textbox or when a certain key or any key is pressed?

I already figured it out. However, security setting prevent me from doing so. The site in frame two is located at a different location . I am already using .hta format and it doesn't help with scrolling.

    Hi disk-t,

You playing with signed scripts? secure sites? And trying to scroll their page from your own? As the french say, c'est la vie.

All I'm doing is making it easier and faster to view the site using frames. Scroll buttons would really make it better.
