    Affiliate Newbie (CPM Questions)

Ok, I'm looking for some decent CPM programs...
Here is the content for the site
-Tutorials (Maya4, 3DS, CSS, JS, JAVA, C++, PHP, Perl, HTML, etc.)
    -Webdesign
    -Webdesign Tips
    -Hosting Reviews
-Webmaster Tools (Info about freeware and commercial programs and links to their official sites)
-Forums (Talk about Design, graphics, Coding, etc)
-Free Domain/Subdomain Hosting to sites (Not that many sites will be hosted...It won't be like f2s.com hosting, more like mgon.com...We only host sites with relevant content)

I know a lot of advertisers don't like that free hosting part.
I believe mgon.com advertises with doubleclick, so i'm sure they're fine with it.

Here are the ones I've seen so far:
    Engage.com
    doubleclick.net
    focusin.com
    bustmedia.com
    fastclick.com
    I think that's it....
Anyone have any opinions about these? Or know of others?
My site isn't up yet, but my last site had 2.7 Million views/2 weeks so I feel confident this site will meet most network standards.

BTW, I love these forums...Nice work!

I may also offer Free @mydomain(s) email...
I could either put CPM banners @ the top or..Don't some sites pay you for being able to send newsletters to your users?
I'm a total newbie to this, so thanks for the help.

If your last site got 2.7 million page views in 2 weeks why don't you know anything about online advertising?

You could probably get advertising for your site with the webmaster information. You'd find it much harder to get advertising for the free email, hosted sites, forums, etc. And if you do get it it likely wont be targetted.

But if you really plan to get that much traffic you may want to look into selling your own advertising.

My last site didn't have many ads, the ones it did have were from CJ.
Mostly i'm looking for CPM programs...
I'm going to offer my own advertising on the site...What should be my CPM rate?
    $5? $6?
    Thanks!

Why don't advertisers like free hosts (Is it because they can't target the traffic?)
Well, I only accept sites with relevant content.. Although i'm not really a free host...
I'll be more like mgon.com....(this is one site they host
    http://thesimsresource.com/ )

People could only dream for $5 and $6 CPM rates with advertising networks. If you sell your own targeted like SitePoint, for example, you could charge up to $20 CPM. 2.7 million impressions in two weeks is A LOT and you should consider hiring an ad salesman with that kind of popularity.
