Form to e-mail and fax machine.

Creating and sending forms no problem...but this is what I need to do...

Have the input from a form sent to an e-mail address and to a Fax machine at the same time. The output format of the results is very important. I need the output to look like the form that was used to enter the information. The form is being created using a table. Any ideas of how to control the output of the form?

    Thanks.

Try http://www.hylafax.org/. There's a lot of information on their site. I'm working on something similar so I'll let you know how I get on.

I will also post here as I make progress as well.

Are you trying to send a fax through the html page or through your own faxserver?

    Form2Fax

I'm tryin gto do it through a HTML form.

On the hylafax site there are a few links to other projects written in PERL and PHP which may be helpful.

Okay look at this site. http://www.tpc.int/

Also you can try this one for scripts. http://www.cgiextremes.com/Scripts/Form_Processing/

Read how the service works on the first link. Let me know what you think or if you have any question.

I use TPC for email to fax all the time also. The bad part is it supports only text, and it will change the formatting as it's pure ascii in it's output.

It's great for sending text messages though.
