"Who here hates usability, accesibility and standardisation?" - This sounds like the chant of the new breed of web designer who is so obsessed with design that they forgot about usability and accesibility.
The kind that make sites with stupid annoying navigation and humungous downloads all in the name of 'digital art' (mostly flash designers I might ad).
You'll find plenty more digital ******y here...

EDIT: disclaimer: I am not knocking the dform1shiftfunc site - actually I love it BUT I happen to be on a T1 connection so a 2Mb site doesn't take an eternity to load, still I did have to explain the navigation to a friend...

No, really, if the visitor can't infer that these three pixels in the top-right corner are the link to our webstore, then what good are they ?
And if they don't understand that the image of a christmas tree there, that mouse-overs in a 80k Santa Claus animated GIF is our Christmas Special Bargains list, then what good are they ?
