    Lol ! YES!! Can't believe thats a question (no offense). Security is the foremost consideration when dealing with credit cards! Data protection insist upon it and failure to adhere to such standards, can results is serious fines and in some cases inprisonment depending upon the case. I would seriously cosider this question to be a priority if your dealing with credit cards. As data protection state "ignorance is no excuse in a court of law".

    Err...encryption can be broken most of the times. Remember not to use hash as your encryption and try and use a 1 way encryption only. Don't forget to use a secure server
