MS Access Cocurrent Users
How many concurrent users can MS Access 2000 handle online? I've heard it place between 2 and 30.

From my experiences it has been towards the lower end of that range. The really low end.
Please don't PM me with questions.

Hi,
I think it's about the 25 mark. With a normal connection lasting about 80-180ms you would have to ahve a fair amount of hits to get up to that mark..NET Code Monkey

Big_Al is absolutely right. You would have to have 25 users performing access on the database at EXACTLY the same time. That would mean you would need a couple hundred at the exact same time to have a real impact on the database.
If you use Access2000, the number is higher and with the faster response time with the JET drivers, your chances of 25 or more users hitting the database is even lower....Dave Maxwell - Manage Your Site Team Leader
