how to add client side oncheckedchanged on asp:dropdownlist sever Controle

I want to add clinet side javascript on the asp:dropdownlist's onchecked changed event how i do this does any one have any idea.
i use the following method in vb.net code behind file

dropdownlist1.Attribuets.add("onCheckedChanged","javascript:aa()")

and see that when i change the option in the list the javascript method aa not fired.
can any one help me??????????

hey dude,
you are doing right, just one little thing wrong, whit this code:

dropdownlist1.Attribuets.add("oncheckedchanged","aa()")

its supose to work out, dont forget to include inside the Page_Load sub.
any problem just ask, i had the same problem and i solved it here.
